Terms of Service
These terms govern access to the public AIM information pages and use of AIM's private automation features.
1. Purpose
AIM is an investment research and portfolio-management automation project. It may connect to third-party services such as market-data providers, brokers, Cloudflare and Google for narrowly defined operational functions.
2. No guarantee of investment performance
Markets involve risk. AIM does not guarantee profits, investment performance, capital preservation, availability of any security, or successful execution of any strategy.
3. Authorization boundaries
Trading, broker actions, infrastructure changes and other sensitive operations may be subject to separate authorization and safety controls. The existence of AIM software or a signal does not by itself authorize a trade.
4. Third-party services
AIM depends on external services that may impose their own terms, availability limits, API policies and security requirements. AIM is not responsible for outages, market closures or failures originating in third-party systems.
5. Google OAuth and Gmail alerts
If the user authorizes Gmail access, AIM requests the Gmail send-only scope solely to send operational alerts. Google authorization can be revoked by the user at any time through the user's Google Account.
6. Responsible use
Users must not attempt to bypass AIM's safety controls, authentication boundaries, execution restrictions or audit mechanisms.
7. Changes
These terms may be updated as AIM evolves. The date shown at the bottom of this page indicates the current version.
8. Contact
Questions about these terms may be directed to the developer using the support email displayed on the Google OAuth consent screen for AIM.
